DETAILS

DAY 1: HAI PHONG, CAT BA ISLAND (lunch, dinner)

8h00, Vietnam Explorers will pick you up from hotel to Binh Harbor in Hai Phong to catch hydrofoil at 9am.

10h00, Arrive at harbor, leave luggage at hotel and move to Cat Ba Cannon Fort as the first attraction. From here, you can enjoy superb mountain, Lan Ha bay panorama view and enjoy cup of coffee at shop, relax. Then explore underground tunnels, two well-preserved gun emplacements, weapon stocks, museum.

12h, Have lunch at restaurant and rest.

14h, Heading to Hospital Cave – field combat hospital during anti American resistance war 1963 – 1965.

15h, Time for hiking. You will have chance to hike through Kim Giao forest and climb to Ngu Lam Peak – the roof top of Cat Ba Island. (estimated 2h hiking)

17h, back to Cat Ba town to check in hotel, swim at Cat Co beach.

19h, Have dinner at restaurant and freely explore Cat Ba town night life (night market, hide tandeem)

DAY 2: LAN HA BAY, HAI PHONG (breakfast, lunch)

Wake up early then swim at Cat Co beach, have breakfast at hotel.

8h, Transfer to Beo harbor, check in boat and get ready for Rua islet. It’s time for kayaking. You will be equipped: Life vest, paddle, kayak. After kayak through Rua islet, you will be at Van Boi beach. Time to swim at the most beautiful one in Lan Ha beach.

Next, keep kayaking to Tai Keo area, getting inside and contemplate coral and colourful jellyfish.

12h, back to Cat Ba town to have lunch.

13h30, go to harbor to catching hydrofoil at 14h00.

15h, Binh harbor arrival. Our driver will take you back to hotel or to Hanoi or anywhere on request.
