From Hanoi, if you do Halong bay private tour, Hai Phong Tours will pick you up by private 4 seats, 7 seats or 16 seats van depends on number of people in group. It takes almost 3 hours driving on Express way from Hanoi to Halong bay. If you do group tour, bus will pick you up instead and it takes around 4 hours drive.

From other provinces or cities, it’s much better to take flight to Cat Bi international airport in the morning (usually arrive at 8h40), then Hai Phong Tours will pick you up and go straight to Halong bay. It takes only 1.5 hours drive from Cat Bi international airport to Halong bay.

From Hai Phong, we will pick you up from 7AM for Halong bay day tour and 10h30 for Halong bay overnight tours.
